Christmas time is finally upon us and even though it is very close to Christmas, you may be a last minute shopper like myself. This blog post will be a gift guide on what to buy for that special woman whether it be your mum, nan or friend.
1. The Mother.
In my case, my mum is 100% the hardest to buy for in the family. My idea this year was to get her lots of small presents and put them in a makeup bag (which was also another present). As my mum is always borrowing my makeup brushes I decided to buy her the Real Techniques 'Sam's Picks' brushes as these contain all the brushes that she needs. Also, as most mums do, my mum is obsessed with candles so I bought her four sample sized Yankee Candles in the scent Snowflake Cookie (which smells just like sweets and happiness).2. The Nan
Personally I think Nan's are quite easy to buy for but I just think that's because whatever you get them, they are too nice to pretend that they don't like it haha. Usually I will get my nan something perfume related but this year I decided on a change, and that I would get her a jumper. This is a good idea because then if she doesn't like it, she can take it back. I decided on a white jumper with pink and purple bits in from New Look. I think this jumper is very versatile and could suit me, my mum or my nan. I also bought her the 'So White' bath ballistic from Lush as I am obsessed with Lush and I'm trying to get as many people as possible to be as obsessed with it as I am haha.3. The Friend
Buying for friends at Christmas time can be tricky as you could have no idea what they want. My idea and probably the safest route to go down is to get them either perfume or bath stuff as this way they will probably like it (unless your friend has a really bad allergy to bath products). For Christmas I bought one of my friends the Once Upon A Lime Soap & Glory gift set. This set is so nice because all the products smell absolutely gorgeous and if you have smelt them you know what I mean (if you haven't, go out and have a sniff, you won't regret it). I also bought another friend a Lush gift set. This gift set is called the Christmas Candy Box and it has products in it such as Snow Fairy, so it's perfect for the sweet lover. I think all the Christmas products in Lush are so nice and I will be so upset when they all go :(.
